Residential Counselors to Work with Homeless & Dually Diagnosed Adults

Greater Boston (including North & South Shore)

Will be working in residential programs with homeless/dually diagnosed adults with mental illness and substance abuse. Program follows a 12 step program and is behavioral in its approach. Candidates will be able to travel to the Topsfield area and there is a strong preference you be MAP certified. Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to providing direct care service to the program/facility, supervising and assisting consumers with tasks such as activities of daily living (ADL), daily leisure/recreational activities and reinforcement, follow-through of their individual treatment plans and dispensing clients daily medication.

Qualifications: Full time and part-time positions are available with hours covered 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Candidates must be flexible and able to work morning, evening and overnight shifts. Qualified candidates will have at least 6 months of experience working with these populations and have current CPR and First Aid.
