TEAM

ARBOR is privileged to have a management team of talented and dedicated human services professionals and educators. Their collective experience adds up to decades of insights that have brought — and still bring — practical and inspirational outcomes to those that ARBOR serves. Take a moment to meet each of them because they are ARBOR.

NEIL KLEIN
General Manager, Providence

"When I was a teacher, I loved making a positive difference to the lives of my students - even if it was just one. At ARBOR the best part of my day is when I can help staff learn from my experience so they can collectively go out and make an impact on dozens - perhaps hundreds of others."

At ARBOR, Neil is building a team of professionals who all do "an amazing job". His role at ARBOR offered him an intersection of his experience as an educator for children with autism and special needs with his business experience in marketing, advertising and finance. "I am using both parts of my background to build a team of people who are motivated to help others." In addition, Neil is well versed in the social, economic and political issues that face agencies and families as they seek out the resources they need. "Budget cuts are inevitable...families only can spend so much. I want to have impact in Providence to make a difference, whether it be fighting for social services or empowering our staff to better serve an individual."

Neil joined ARBOR after four years as a teacher who designed and implemented K–5 educational programs for children with autism. He also used instructional “best practices,” such as positive behavior support, direct systematic instruction, curriculum modifications, and data-collection techniques. Neil also taught Learning Disabled students with emotional and behavioral challenges in a special day class environment.

Prior to his transition to education and human services, Neil had an accomplished career as a marketing and financial professional as President of a marketing consulting and advertising agency as well as an Assistant Vice President in banking.

Neil obtained a BS in Sociology and Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Education, Moderate to Severe Needs.
